I co-lead a collaborative project and manage a large database of prairie fens and their species, management history, and environment to inform endangered species conservation.

I built sets of twelve different envelope, regression, and tree-based machine learning models to demonstrate how decisions made by modelers can significantly  impact model results and interpretations.

I manually aggregated occurrence data from public data repositories to map the spread of the invasive plant European frog-bit in North America over nearly a century.

I obtained and cleaned water quality data collecting in the Maumee River Watershed to identify nutrient hotspots and inform soil and water modeling efforts.

I build all kinds of data visualizations to communicate insights and create opportunities to interact with data in intuitive and engaging ways.

I regularly present at international conferences on the importance of data in biodiversity science and how diversity and inclusion can help us create a strong and equitable data landscape and workforce.
